He’s remarkably good at making money for some reason. Like he can piss 40Bn up a wall and still be the richest man in the world and he could do it again today and still be the world’s richest man. Makes me question what in the ever loving fuck I’m doing wrong.

You’re likely doing nothing wrong; wealth and merit are just unrelated.

If I had to list core beliefs that separate conservatives from liberals, that right there would be one.

Agreed, although liberals sometimes have a brand of meritocratic belief - it’s usually more to do with something like karma rather than faith in “the market” or whatever.

wealth and merit are just unrelated.

If this is what you actually think, it might be the thing you’re doing wrong. Fortuna est quae fit cum praeparatio in occasionem incidit.

Well, for one are you psychopath and/or sociopath? If not, that’s a problem. Second, were you born wealthy? If not that’s HUGE hurdle.

you’re trying to make an honest living. also you didn’t get millions from your daddy. there’s the difference. change these two simple factors and you too can be one of the richest people on earth and take credit and tons of money from the fruits of labor you steal from non-union workers.
