You really think that for the entire duration of the russian empire and its successor states (to this very day) all those vassals actually had a say in their government? There’s no helping you.

          others react in kind.

Jesus Christ, dude. The russian empire predates the American state. They’ve been subjugating client states for a long, long time. They’ve been undermining the free will of countless Eurasian peoples for centuries. And they’re more active in that arena now than they were back in the old days.

No need to be belligerent with commonly known facts. Still the 100+ year global hegemonic run of the US far exceeds the Eurasian hegemony of the Russian empire in terms of lives lost, economic impact, and ecological loss.

The Holomodor is truly an horrific genocide of the Ukrainian people caused by the Soviets.

The US has perpetrated or backed the following genocides:

                • The Native American genocide
                • African and African American genocide in the US
                • The Palestinian genocide
                • The Bangladeshi genocide
                • The Guatemalan genocide
                • The Yemeni genocide

Not even getting into the mass death caused by American sanctions.

Are we going back to the 1600-1800s? If so I think the list of Eurasian/Russian (in whatever form) fuckery and murder is quite long as well.

Probably best not to take high ground on that
