“the one responsible is […] the one who gave the order”

ok so back to your analogy, the US would be handing guns and ammunition the ‘one responsible’, then?

In the same sense that Sweden gave weapons to those responsible for Columbine.

Lmao, only if Sweden is knowingly handing weapons to someone who is currently slaughtering children.

Most soldiers in the IDF have not killed anyone. The US is not seeking out those who have in order to arm them.

It is providing weapons to a group, knowing that some of the people in that group might use the weapons to kill. Which is also what Sweden is doing.

“the one responsible is […] the one who gave the order”

You already said responsibility sits further up the chain than individual soldiers. If “the one who gave the order” is responsible for the genocide, then the US is handing guns and bullets directly to those people (the ones who are giving the orders).

Yes, like I said the US is arming people who are responsible for killing as well as people who are not responsible. Which is also what Sweden is doing.

Americans are murdering schoolchildren and Sweden is arming Americans.

Not just Sweden. Glocks are pretty popular too. So are H&K. We can add Germany and Austria to the list of countries arming murderers.

LMAO, you’re trying to abdicate the IDF and Israel from guilt by treating the genocide like it’s a rouge group a soldiers disobeying orders and going on a murder spree, and I’m telling you it’s exactly the nation of Israel that is guilty of committing genocide. In fact, genocide is definitionally systematic, not individualistic.

                    Put another way:

                    • The columbine shooter committed murder, and is a subset of Americans
                    • Israel is committing genocide, and Israel is a superset of all IDF soldiers

In one case, the object of the crime (the guilty party) is an individual, and in the other case, the object of the crime is the group, and the individuals are subjects of the group. You wouldn’t say “Americans committed a mass shooting”, because mass shootings are something that is done by individuals, just like how genocides are something that is done by a group.

Most soldiers in the IDF have not killed anyone.

We, as Americans, are gonna have to find this “Genocide Georg” who should not have been counted.

There are about 40K Gazan casualties but over 600K IDF soldiers including reserves. So the vast majority of soldiers have not killed anyone.
