He waited 2.5 years before doing jack shit. He’s a conservative who was trying to let Trump slide until Congress put pressure on him to actually do something. He’s a fucking traitor, just like every other conservative in our government.
That’s quite an interpretation. Prosecutions for Jan 6th started pretty immediately after he was put in his post, and that whole prosecuting a former President for crimes took some time and investigation to work out. It was stalled from day one by the courts, remember? Garland seems to have done his job just fine.
Interpretation? It’s a fact. He famously did not begin investigating Trump for over 2 years and only began after congress publicly implored him to. If he began investigating Trump at an appropriate time, we might have seen justice for the leader of the insurrection before the upcoming elections. This is not an “interpretation”. This is a fact.
