minus-square@toynbeelink3•6 months agoI generally agree with you, but wasn’t SELinux primarily the NSA and Tresys? I know it’s a primarily Red Hat thing now, but I think it would have existed in some form without them. It is entirely possible I’m misinformed.

It was made by the NSA to secure the already existing RHEL systems. Without RHEL there wouldnt be SELinux, I guess.
