@JoeClu I think the protocol gets a lot right. It’s just a shame all the users are alt-right.

Thanks, this is exactly what I’ve been thinking about as I’ve become more familiar with Fediverse protocols and applications.
Are they? Why would that be? Does that mean you’ll purposefully stay away?
I don’t really know anything about it; hence the reason I asked. It’s disappointing that it has the political stigma of extreme polarization before it even has a chance to become more used.
Do you know if a lot of others have the same view as you on ir?
