That image of the kid holding up the “I want my raw milk” sign; it makes me sad for her. She is just trying to follow her basic needs, fitting in with your family / tribe. She doesn’t yet have the ability to critically examine the evidence.
Though it does give me a reminder of a very cool story from a few years ago. A small group of students 16yo’s in Wellington, went and got their vaccines, their parents were antivax. Their parents hit the fucken roof when they found out…public opinion was almost 100% on side of the kids.
Stupid adults harm their kids.
These people probably overlap quite heavily with the anti-vax people; it is their kids and all other people around them that are harmed.
Yes. The perpetration of harm is the only reason we can’t just let it sort itself out. I agree.
