Unsanctioned matches should have no ring announcing. No entrance music. No pyro. The tron/stage should go dark.
I get where you’re coming from, but when you’re actually at the shows, the entrances/pyro/etc are a huge part of the experience. And them tickets ain’t cheap. It’d be a kind of a bummer for the main event to not have all that spectacle.
Now, if it were a purely cinematic match or an empty arena match? I 100% agree.
Alternatively, I think it’s hilarious that AEW just accepts no liability while promoting the match, making it the main event and giving the big spectacle entrance and announcements. We’re making money off of this but don’t sue us for this shit either
