Since the fediverse is growing and growing fast, there is some content coming through the all feed that, personally, I would prefer to not see from specific communities.
For example, if I wanted to block communities dedicated to vtubers, when that community shows up in my all feed, I would like to explicitly block that content from being shown in my client.
On other “centralized” social media platforms, you could use browser extensions to block specific content from communities that you wouldn’t want to see.
Just wondering if there’s something already there or if I need to make a feature ask to the lemmy client owners.
It’s a bit cumbersome as you have to enter the offending slice and then click “ignore community” in the sidebar.
I wish there was a more convenient way.
In related news this mostly affected me before i switched my standard view to “subscribed” instead of “local”.
