Fascism has been here for decades, but most people think fascism will come in looking like oppression and tyranny. If you are among the privileged class, fascism is presents itself as safety, normalcy, status quo, and tradition.

… You mean privilege like the ability to let Trump back into office without risking your own skin?

Your party created Trump and they will always have a version of trump. The fact that he is in there is your party’s doing

So then by this logic, you’re a democrat? Since you’re trying your best to elect “our creation”. (btw I’m not a “democrat” I just have no choice but to vote for them currently since I’m not a privileged sociopath)

edit: also you didn’t answer the question because how could you? It’s privilege and we both know it.

Socialists don’t vote for conservatives like Republicans or Democrats. Trying to distance yourself by proclaiming I’m not a Democrat but have no choice is like driving the getaway car and claiming innocence.

My skin is at risk regardless of which shade of fascism sits in the halls of government. And so is every other marginalized group out there. They remain marginalized regardless who you vote for

You can pretend voting for anyone but a democrat will help anything, but that is either indicative that you’re actually a republican or extremely opposed to being logical about this.

Voting for Democrats hasn’t helped shift, and it won’t in the future. They don’t represent the working class and they are surrounding themselves with conservatives as they become the dominant conservative party

Then vote for Republicans. That is 100% what you’re doing if you vote third party. Pretending otherwise won’t change a damned thing

I know election math is as confusing as toilet paper math, but try and follow along. A vote for candidate A goes to candidate A. A vote for candidate B goes to candidate B, and so forth. A vote for candidate B does not go to candidate C or A Still with me, or was that too confusing?

Now, when votes are tallied, every ballot cast for candidate A stays in the candidate A bucket. Same with candidate B, C, and so forth.

If candidate B has shit in their bucket and is demanding everyone still place their ballot with them, they can’t be surprised when no one wants to go near the shit bucket. if it’s unclear, Democrats are bucket B

As it gets closer to election day I’m really finding myself missing 2016’s Bernie Bro.

They were the more creative and interesting version of the generic third party posters that fill the role these days.
