Zig vs Rust. Which one is going to be future?

I think about pros and cons and what to choose for the second (modern) language in addition to C.

    What I would suggest you is: go with Rust first. When you will have enough of the messy ecosystem, the restrictions caused by the borrow checker, the slow compile time.

    When you will be at your 3rd carpal tunnel surgery due to the Rust syntax with all its glyphs… (If you don’t understand, you will see… You will /feel/ it).

    When you will be done with all that, try Zig…

    It seems to be a common progression these days.
