I don’t understand how they get this drink to look pretty in pictures, maybe the dark rum is not as dark? Anyway - sitting here watching the sideways rain and enjoying a hurricane.
2oz white rum (Miami Club)
2oz dark rum (Mahina)
1oz orange juice
1oz sweetened passionfruit puree
1oz lemon
1 spoonful grenadine
It’s not bad, but not great.
Made one with half the rum, it was better. Though still muddy looking even without the dark rum, nothing like the pictures online. Plan for if I ever have the occasion to enjoy one again though, half the rum, passionfruit liqueur not puree, still lemon not lime, pomegranate juice not grenadine. Certainly not tonight though. Has anyone a recipe they actually enjoyed?
