Long story short: enough people need to agree together on one community to make it grow.
Seems like for anime in general, there are two active communities, so at the end you either choose one and only post on it, or post to both.
I’ll go subscribe to that. I don’t have anything to add at the moment, but maybe others thoughts will help spark my own
