I’m interested in finding one that truly supports free speech. If something is spam or advertising then it should be removed.

    And you’re sure whatever beef you have is with the admin of the instance, not the moderator of a community? Not gonna lie, you sound like the equivalent of blaming Spez for a comment getting deleted in /r/conservative. Obviously the dude is not without his faults, but if you’re going to complain at least aim it at the right place.

            And what did lemmy.world do? As you can probably tell, I’m a little skeptical of people demanding “free speech!!!” on a private platform, but am generally not a fan of willy nilly defederation for my own reasons. So humor me - why did I make the wrong move signing up on Lemmy.world from a “free speech” perspective?
