Voting for either Trump or Harris means genocide isn’t a dealbreaker for you. Republicans may be doing most of the harm to minorities, but that means the Democrats are holding them hostage.

For sure but what the fuck are you going to do to stop them? Because voting won’t.

Genocide abroad is better than genocide abroad and less human rights at home. In the same way that getting shot Is better than being burned alive.

before i engage with you on this, i’d like to ask you a few questions:

      1. are you eligible to vote in the US

      2. who do you plan on voting for

      3. if you, gun to your head, have to choose between harris or trump, who would you prefer?

EDIT: it has been two days and the person i’m replying to still hasn’t responded. if one is unwilling to engage in constructive discourse, one should not make wild claims.

My vote is not an endorsement, it’s a tactical action. Optimizing for as good of a future as I can means not doing “principled” votes sometimes.

Hi! Your comment succeeded in convincing me of all the genocide in which I have been tacitly engaged. What action do you recommend I take now?

Voting third party also means genocide “isn’t a dealbreaker for you” in exactly the same sense, because voting third party in a first past the post system is just voting for trump, which is the worst outcome for Palestinians.
