minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•7 hours agoI hear you, and agree it happens there too, but I think Lemmy is particularly guilty. The insular nature of federation and the origin of Lemmy in the first place seems to attract lots of very zealous folks.
It’s not just on Lemmy or the Fediverse though. It’s the same on Reddit or YT too, or when you look at what people demonstrate for outside nowadays.
