What statistics are you referencing? I’m not doubting you, I’m just curious. Regardless of the answer, if we don’t stand up to Russia, we will be doomed World War statistics. Most of the numbers I’ve found suggest a battle of attrition over supplies, not men. In regards to history, relatively few men have died, but the cost of arms has gone up astronomically. Consumer drones might put that into question eventually. That and Putin. If we’re literally talking about the statistical number of deaths Putin has caused, maybe, MAYBE it’s greater than Stalin, but then we get into the definition of “responsibility.” Okay, I’m doubting you, but I want to be wrong.

The numbers that would put Stalin ahead of Hitler are the ones from fascists that blame Stalin for the deaths in WW2, but it’s also not a complete blowout without them so whatever.

I’m not sure why you’d think Putin could compare to either, ever, but the point is it’s a new millennium so his only real competition is alcohol manufacturing.

i mean… that is one of the most volatile regions in the world in the 21st century and it is almost entirely putin causing that. if there’s little competition then it’s because he’s the only major power in the region stuck in last centurie’s mindset and trying to pull the rest of us back. everyone else being better now is a point against putin.

it’s like the rest of the world saw WWII as a lesson on how not to be, and he saw glory.
