you probably heard of “simple dialer”. Fossify apps are forks of simple (because simple is sold to an advertisement company)

Yes, I get that people need to eat, but goddamn it man THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO GET MONEY THAN SELLING OUT.
at least push one last update that warns the users
On a side note, if anyone uses Omnivore, I discovered yesterday that they have sold out as well (to an AI startup). We got a 2 weeks notice to export our stuff because accounts will be deleted.

Damn, I didn’t know! When did that happen? By the way, I’ve just noticed that the Simple apps haven’t been updated for about a year.
Fdroid version is old because their newer versions are not open source anymore. So don’t use them
Oh, so theycve abandoned the open source version :( I’m switching all my simple apps to Fossify.
