      The BLS noted that the Boeing strike likely subtracted 44,000 jobs in the manufacturing sector

      so I guess not just Boeing directly, but all jobs related to manufacturing of parts etc.

        This is the answer. Every single MFG facility in this area is cutting workers, office staff, etc. Quality first then operations and even the middle management/SLT/whatever bullshit name they cooked up. 10-20% easily.
