Let’s move on. This is what the American people wanted. Let them burn it all down. The adults will pick up the pieces when it’s all over.
“The adults” can’t restore lost lives, and depending on how much “the adults” think they should take the moral high ground, they may only undo some of the damage, while normalize the rest.
I’m well aware. I’m not making light of the things that will happen.
