And good luck getting most people off of social media controlled by conservatives. Facebook/Twitter is digital heroin to A LOT of people.
It’ll go in waves. Currently both the Fediverse and BlueSky are cozy places, and as they continue to further decay, both are going to gain more and more users. I’m less on these kinds of platforms, but I started to instead doomscroll way less and either watch more videos or are more productive. We maybe even should call this movement “social media detox”.
