Yea… This is just Jon Steward level snark that makes us chuckle and feel like we’re doing something, when in reality we’re doing jack shit.

Democrats need to be organizing and running from the local level up and let go of these clever quips. They do nothing except placate people.

I honestly believe Jon coming back did more harm than good. He’s giving leftist an outlet so they don’t actually do anything with their anger.

All these comedians are just letting us vent our energy, meaning it’s not used to organise and run for something.

You can’t tell people the country is going under, while also cracking jokes.

LAUGHING IS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING ANYONE CAN EVER DO!

We all must be grim and serious because we all know that those Jon Stewart level people never achieve anything.

Other than becoming president of Ukraine.

But really, what has Zelensky accomplished?

Sorry… are you under the bizarre impression that Russia invading his country was his fault?

Are you also under the bizarre impression that his Putin stooge predecessor would have had a problem with Russian tanks driving down the streets of Kyiv?

He’s been able to keep his country together, and most of its land, after years of invasion by “the world’s second biggest military.”

Incidentally, it’s actually either the fifth or sixth largest military depending on whether you count reservists.

Then do explain to me the point since I literally showed you someone turning comedy into organizing and running for something.

Because you seem to be missing the point of political satire.
