minus-square@WhatAmLemmylinkEnglish10•1 month agoRecycling is only a scam for plastic. Paper and glass are fully recyclable but are energy intensive. Aluminum and most metals are cheaper and less energy intensive to recycle than to mine and refine from scratch.
