    Actually I think that’s the right answer. Saying “it’s normal to feel miserable” is what a 50s doctor or a Catholic priest would say, not someone who wants to do no harm.

        And? Don’t you want individualized treatment from your medical professionals? It’s not like the doc went to this person’s workplace and they had a fucking icebreaker about depression. It’s a 1x1 clinical environment: “no life does not need to be this way and we can help you” isn’t “singled out” its individual care.

                Well your point is wrong.

                All they said is that feeling depressed or anxious all the time is not normal, nothing about the patient themselves.

                    I suppose I was since that was a rhetorical question. Your stated point does not align with your statements. Honestly this Lemmy app is exhausting to use else I’d put more effort into explaining but…life’s short.
