It was a Holy Moly… Moment!! don’t know how my fellow photographers do it! I was trying to keep the camera steady but at the same time was shaking from excitement and deciding if should duck or not! His/her wingspan was astronomical!
There have been so many great action shots lately. It blows me away how clearly the photographers are able to capture these moments.
The Docking Procedures post from the other day was a great one for me, as seeing the angle and posture used for the landing was unexpected. It came in very horizontal and with the feet out like for catching prey. I had thought it would be a more vertical plop.
