minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•1 month agoArch is on the bleeding edge and it doesn’t ask for a reboot. I think it asks for a reboot to load the kernel parts that have updated. Arch probably just assumes you’ll do it eventually, but if you don’t it’ll just keep running the current kernel.

I have the save experience with popos
There should be an option in the settings to disable restarting to apply updates (though I only kno2 it exists on KDE)
