Yeah they’re not really pulling their weight though tbh. What good’s a hostage if your opponent doesn’t care about their well-being?

Exactly the type of humans you need to rebuild a population.

Netanyahu truly doesn’t care about them, which is why he’s refusing deals that return all the hostages in exchange for a few weeks of ceasefire then permission to resume bombing.

That many? I really have not kept up with that side of this story. I don’t think it’s all that relevant to the overall picture at this point, which is why, but I still feel silly not even knowing that.
It’s the official reason the US vetoed the UN ceasefire proposal. I say officially because they would do so regardless but still.
