My bet is on LMAO; the guy who was banned for parking tons of instance names that then started making tons of random string instances and other asshattery in response to being banned.
I think it’s probably related to the exploding-heads being defederated stuff. Basing that mostly because one of the attacks on lemmy.world caused it to refederate with EH until the admins put it right again.
