Fan-made trailers of existing media can be really interesting, especially when they put a very different take on the presentation. Example: Star Trek the Motion Picture in a more modern style makes that movie seem amazing. Or Alien as a comedy movie
I watch fan made trailers for media which is already out, for example HL1 trailer is splendid.
