Its funny you say that shit about liberals when Rubepublicans are banning books. How’s your reality down there? Is the worldview narrowing?

That might be true if there was an actual unified left in the states. Theres not. So most leftist are unrepresented. You might also have a point if Democrats didn’t actually enact shit that helped the working class and allow you to be who you want, but they do so your point is moot. Theres only one party here who consists of close minded anti-intellectuals and though the dems are annoying with their donors its not them. Have fun with the federally mandated genders come January. Cause nothing says open minded freedom like forcing people to have binary genders.

I think liberals are also attempting to ban books nowadays, so that’s not a great point to raise.

A 2023 analysis by The Washington Post found that a majority of book challenges in over 100 school districts from the 2021–2022 school year were filed by just 11 people.[30] Based on a survey by PEN, about 10,000 books were banned from US schools by Republican-led censorship laws in the 2023/2024 academic year. This was nearly triple the amount of the previous academic year,[4] which had also seen a record level of bans.[31]

I’d love to see your sources.

Oh I pulled it out of my arse while paving somebody’s patio, actually. Something about Huckleberry Finn? But I’m glad we agree nobody should be banning books.
