The creators of the Batman: Arkham series are back with a brand new action-adventure shooter. Online servers remain on for now. Offline mode requires a new profile and can’t be turned into an online mode profile. You’ll be able to have one offline and one online profile per account. Somehow it’s too difficult to add LAN, I guess.

    Cool that they’re adding an offline mode so people can still play it if they want, but that’s ridiculous that you need to basically start a new game if you already have it, and it needs to be totally separate save?

    Borderlands figured this out years ago, and so did basically everyone else.

      I’m not very traveled in the looter space, but the idea is to prevent hacked profiles from cheating their way through the online item economy, right? In which case, I’d still imagine the solution is to allow you to migrate an online profile offline but not the other way around.

        That’s the idea. You could also download cheat engine to fuck around in those games because I want to be a powerful badass destroying everything in sight.
