Lucky for me my parents were both “I didn’t save anything for retirement, my kids will take care of me when I’m older”, so I don’t have to suffer through this.

      Let’s not kid ourselves and call them “united” anymore. Anyways, this is lemmy.world, not lemmy.dsa, so while I am pretty sure that even in the DSA, spending money helps the economy, I was talking global.
