That she has little if anything to worry about—that she’s perfectly safe with him; that he has no intention to have sex with her, that he is truly worried that she might freeze to death out there—that his place isn’t in some town or other urban area, much less a city like NYC, Chicago, or LA, but maybe northern Alaska, so she might as well stay. As for the drink, maybe he put in something she isn’t used to such as lime, Tabasco sauce, or cinnamon, not some narcotic that will render herself incapable or resisting sexual assault?
