Gods with infinite power vs. gods with infinite power. That’s boring to watch. There aren’t any real stakes or comprehensible limitations to it. And the good guys win because…. friendship? They believed in themselves?
The Watchers could have easily wiped out the mortal characters at any time during or before the episode. There was no reason for them not to kill them when they were capable of it. The Watchers also could have pulled their Living Tribunal power move at any time.
Captain Universe was cool, but fleeting. Stephen Strange the Universe could have just reconstituted a new Peggy Carter facsimile to the one that sacrificed herself. Ultron’s change of heart still seems unbelievable. I was hoping the other episodes of this season would tie in with the finale as the previous seasons did.

I agree that Infinity Ultron was underutilized.
A whole episode could have been devoted to finding an Infinity Ultron that more closely aligned with their views.
