Northern Hawk Owl Alberta, Canada I love the juxtaposition of the fierce intensity of the Northern Hawk Ow’s gaze against the soft, pastel, candy-coloured sky. also love when the stars align and gift me the opportunity to capture the two together.
I don’t think Hawk Owl has a sense of humor. He always looks so serious.
Always makes me think of Sam the Eagle.

I know they’re lighter than they look, even more so than you’re thinking right now, but I still didn’t know how they can hang there without the branch bending!
