I thought it was just a reference to the fact that big smoke says the same line every time you fail which was incredibly infuriating if you fail multiple times in a row.
“REALLY BIG SMOKE!? THAT’S ALL I HAD TO DO!? FOLLOW THE TRAIN!? ALL YO BITCH ASS HAD TO DO WAS SHOOT THOSE MFER’S YET HERE WE ARE”
Then that piece of shit betrays us.
Big Smoke is THE asshole through the game so him repeating that line fits very well.
I still like the theory that he only took so long to order so the other gang had time to get there
