    Oh ok well tried looking for super glue but I can’t find it so if I was starting fresh and had to buy something what should I get?

      Cheap super glue from coles/woolies will do. It’s about $3 for a twin pack. You’ll only need a drop, so line up all the little repair jobs you can find before the tube dries out.

        Oh ok. I might duck out quickly to grab some and see if I can do a quick repair job.

        Do I need to worry about putting too much glue on or getting too much of it on my nail?

          Try to use as little as possible, just a drop to start with and you can always add another later if you need. It’s a pain in the bum to remove if you use too much.

            Ok, thanks.

            Might even have to use less than a drop I reckon.

            Just need to bind it for a couple of weeks.

            Else I could just keep putting bandaids over it for a couple of weeks.

      You can also apply clear nail polish, stick a small torn patch of teabag paper or tissue to the wet polish over the split, and then once dry paint a few coats of polish over the top to seal it. (Drying fully in between.)

      It might not be strong enough if the split is large but can provide some reinforcement while it grows out
