What else could compel someone to end their life of misery except the absolute conviction that the after life must be better in some way shape or form.

Nothing he said is predesposed to an afterlife, oblivion can work perfectly well as ‘something better on the other side’ if you believe life is bad.

I considered what they said and deemed it ignorant. I wasn’t eager. I read their words and came to an obvious conclusion. They have only one thought of why suicide would be done because the other side of life is better.
Stop and think now. That’s ignorant. Not me calling that out. People kill themselves for a myriad of reasons. Not simply because the other side must be better.
