Could it be “over another person”? Asshollery is kinda universal

This. The worst person I’ve ever worked with happened to be a woman. She was an awful human being.

That’s odd because I don’t often see men talk over other men at meetings, but women can’t generally finish a sentence without a man trying to talk over her.

I don’t know where you work but I have seen it all the time. There tends to be a whole back and forth. One thing I hate though is the folks who are like im not finished and your like ok finish and then they add nothing unique over what they already said.

In my experience of being the person who always gets talked over, women do it just as much as men :(

That’s odd. I always see it the other way around and men don’t speak up for themselves because the loud woman then tries to play this card, so everyone just has to take the abuse.

You can try say, “Bec, you need to let people finish, especially if they’re answering you.”

But a complaint will go to HR.

Funnily enough the organisation I frequently sub to is the diametric opposite of that - it’s normally the women telling the men to stfu and concentrate on the matter being discussed. Us men are a belligerent lot, though, but we do get the job done and none of us have nanked each other yet. Fingers crossed.
