    Nah, I also manage hundreds of devices and managed thousands at my previous job. You have to go out of your way to support and purchase DisplayPort. It’s not on TVs. It’s rarely on laptops. It’s not on conference room equipment. Anywhere I do find DisplayPort hdmi is right next to it.

      Meanwhile business class monitors have DP, rarely HDMI. All the business desktops and thin clients we have purchased for many years are DP only. Digital signage, all DP. Out of my last three laptops, only one had HDMI, but they all had DP over USB C.

      The only things I see regularly using HDMI are consumer television gear. Almost everything else has been DP first and HDMI second (if at all).

      Though enterprise server hardware is still using VGA lol.
