During a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 7, the 78-year-old president-elect shared his plan for renaming the Gulf of Mexico. “We’re going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America,” Trump told reporters.
Half of me wants to start keeping a personal tally of all the bullshit that comes out of this embarrassment while the other half just wants to cancel my internet to avoid the emotional trauma.
I’m also at this crossroads. I think a sub for link-dumping would be great because he doesn’t deserve the time of day to curate him a list that nobody will read.
Its a fine line innit? The hope is that I can stay up to date on “stuff” without being terminally online or interacting with the soon to be constant barrage of nonsense like “Rename the gulf of Mexico!” or “We’re buying Greenland!” as well as the endless hand wringing and ultimately pointless reactions to the crisis du jour.
