They put a lot of effort in the translation and voice acting. Whenever a joke doesn’t translate, they come up with something in the same spirit. Sometimes, I like the translation better.

example: The ghost, ghost, ghost, toast, ghost scene can’t be translated, since no synonym for toast rhymes with “Geist” (German for ghost). So instead they just go with “Weißbrot” (a long synonym for toast), which is very random, but honestly hilarious.
