Damnit. I’m also in the PNW and now I realize I need to do this. At least my outdoor plants should all be fine at those temps.
Need to prune the roses real quick too…
Roses are immortal. Once they are planted, you can’t get rid of them, weather be damned.
Edit: Source: I moved into my house 3 plus years ago and have been trying to kill off a very poorly located rose bush from the beginning. I’m about to pour vinegar on the thing.
We have mint too. Every time I think I’ve uprooted it all, it grows back.
You’ve gotta salt the earth if you want to get rid of mint.
Transplant that sucker.
