Summary

Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su expressed skepticism about Donald Trump’s claims of being a pro-worker.

Su cited Trump’s past anti-union policies and his billionaire advisers, such as Elon Musk, an outspoken union opponent.

Su highlighted infrastructure investments, increased labor protections, and enforcement of wage theft laws, but expressed concerns that Trump’s return could reverse these gains.

She condemned plans for mass deportations and budget cuts, warning they would harm vulnerable workers.

Sure you can. All you have to do is redefine “working class” as the class that sucks up to the billionaires, willfully enabling them.

The previous working class is split between proliteriat (the greater majority) and the bootlickers (the new working class).

        “Peasants” works too.

I think the most accurate term really though is “livestock.”
