SPRINGFIELD, IL—Describing the items on the shelf as yet other example of the “woke nonsense” abetting the feminization of American men, local conservative Nick Schwab, 54, told reporters Wednesday he was outraged by the availability of tampons and other period products in men’s grocery stores. “This is fucking unbelievable—what if I’d had my son with […]
I think they mean Home Depot?
Menards(a Midwestern regional version of Home Depot) has a grocery section including hygiene products. If you are a single guy working on your house, it is almost a one stop shop for all your needs except alcohol.
You can buy tools, plumbing supplies, a grill, patio furniture, ratchet straps, a cask of cheese balls, shower soap, beef jerky, and a plant to show how nurturing you are.
soap? what is this?! be a real man and wash with sandpaper
added advantage: you probably already have some for the toilet
Tampons have no place in me nards
Well yeah, it isn’t Womenards
/s
I kind of want to stop in at the one by me and see if they have tampon and/or pads there.
That would be Fleet Farm.
It’s a big store you can get lost in there pretty easily. Thankfully their website has the aisle listed on the product pages: https://www.menards.com/main/grocery-home/health-beauty/feminine-care/c-6758.htm
So it’s kind of like a real life Food n’ Stuff?
It’s where I get my food. And most of my stuff.
I fuckin’ love Menards. I’m sad I don’t live in MN anymore because we don’t have a comparable store out on the west coast.
I wouldn’t mind if we had Menards out here on the East coast. i’m a born and raised Tarheel so I naturally speak Lowe’s but I hear a lot of cool shit about Menards.
Yeah, naw, Menards is something that could only thrive in the Midwest.
The closest you get is Outdoor Supply or Tractor Supply, but that is NorCal and not as good for building supplies.
No, yeah, I’m with you. I live in the mountains in NorCal, so the best we’ve got is a Meek’s (decent for building supplies) and a DIY Store (bad-to-mid for everything else you might find at a Home Depot).
The jingle though…My kids have never even lived in the Mid West, but just from visiting my in-laws and watching hockey games, it’s already ingrained in their subconscious. If they hear anyone talk about saving money, they’ll burst out into “Save big money at Menard’s!”
They definitely have a great jingle.
I wish more companies would do jingles, it is the pinnacle of marketing induced brain worms. But naw, they want to make fake home vertical video reviews from fake content creators because COVID influenced marketing departments haven’t died and they can’t see the glory of jingles to inject a brand into your brain.
