Many Reddit users are boycotting the social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, after Elon Musk twice made a gesture during President Trump’s inaugural celebration that drew comparisons to the Nazi salute.
Mr. Musk, the billionaire owner of the social media platform, was speaking at a celebratory rally after Mr. Trump’s installment as the 47th president on Monday when he grunted, placed his hand over his heart and lifted his arm with the palm facing down in a hail to the audience.
It’s fucking infuriating watching the media sanewash this bullshit. The amount of people gaslighting themselves into believing he didn’t just full on throw out a sieg heil will all his chest is outright distressing.
When shit really gets real, make sure y’all don’t let a single one of the fuckers that voted for Trump pretend they didn’t know. They knew. They wanted it. They do not get to play innocent. None of those fuckers are.
I told my sister that anyone who voted for Trump this time around (including her husband) is evil by negligence, pride, or malice and that none of those are acceptable in any way at this point.
If you were negligent and didn’t realize how fucking evil they all are, fuck you it was the most obvious thing in the world.
If you were too proud to bear voting for a democrat (or opted out altogether), fuck you you selfish fuck. Other people needed your help.
If you know what they’re about and thought “yes, more of that”, I’ll bet most are in the wrong tax bracket for this thought and they all deserve to go to special hell.
They don’t want to play innocent. They want to go farther. Just remember, innitially the nazis didn’t think of extermination camps. In the begining they just deported the Jews. The issue was they’d deport Jews, the Jews would be sent out of Germany, and then a year later Germany would take over more land. So they’d deport them again, but then they’d take MORE land. And they kept finding and deporting the same Jewish populations.
That’s when they said they needed a final solution. Because it’s never about appeasement. Nothing will ever be enough. It’s always about more. It’s always about taking more land, more power, more everything.
So if trump announced he was bringing slavery back, his base wouldn’t have a moment of self realization. They wouldn’t take a step back and admit they were wrong. They’d fucking cheer. They wouldn’t feel empathy. They’d feel empowered.
