Still $9 “low price” at Ralph’s in the Los Angeles area…

I’ve been paying $8-9 for fancy organic farmer’s market eggs for years. It’s wild to me that the basic Kroger brand egg now cost that much but my fancy eggs haven’t gone up in price.

8-9$? Holy shit, that is expensive. Here in Germany a 10 pack organic eggs is somewhere around 3€.

Costco was about the same per dozen (business costco had 15 doz for ~$137) and they’re supposed to be cheaper because of membership fees and buying in bulk. But, hey, at least those damned trans folk are miserable! That’s all any of us ever really wanted, right?

Oh look, another brick wall on which to bang my head until I do enough brain damage to understand the reichright.

Does this actually sell? I personally buy it from Costco for $3.95 and I’ve lowered my eggs consumerism consumption(fuck Gboard for wanting to speak for me) from 5 - 7 eggs in the morning to only 3 now. And if this shit keeps going up, I’m stopping it completely.

Yes but that’s Ralph’s. I’ve continued getting $4 eggs from Sprouts which is just their going rate. (Although their $9 pasture eggs are lit).

I think it helps that mine is a new sprouts so it’s not as frequented. They do have a notice saying there is a shortage though. I don’t think their pasture raised ones are impacted directly, but the loss of the cheaper eggs still makes it in higher demand.
