Spirit Airlines has a new dress code for passengers banning certain tattoos, clothing — or not enough clothing.

The airline updated its “contract of carriage” stating passengers “may not be permitted to board” or “may be required to leave an aircraft” if they are barefoot, “inadequately clothed," or if clothing or tattoos are obscene or offensive.

The rules specify “inadequately clothed” as see-through clothing, not enough coverage, exposed breasts, buttocks or other private parts.

It also stated people who are considered too smelly can be removed from a flight.

Except it’s all subjective. If a person has a German swastika tattoo and the other person has a Biden tattoo, the flight attendant could justifiably let either of them stay.

Maybe they should be more specific then.

They can’t list every specific thing. There is no way to account for each possibility. As long as there are people determined to break the rules, the rules will have to be left vague enough to account for general assholery.

TBF, up until the last decade or so, 99.99% of humans anywhere would’ve failed to ID the Nazi versions of their plagiarized symbols - many of which represented completely opposite concepts to the Nazi versions. Thanks to Drumpf, Musk (and hell even Rodman, et al), everyone everywhere knows what a free-use Nazi cum-dumpster looks like these days. 🤷🏼‍♂️😶
