Specifically: NATO article 5 has been invoked only once in NATO’s history, after the September 11 attacks on the United States in 2001. And we were there for you, no questions asked. Now your country is threatening a NATO ally. Tread carefully.
I mean, I have no say in what my country actually does. I highly disapprove of it all, in fact. But I would hope that if the rest of the world kicked in our door to stop our shit, that regular citizens like me wouldn’t be in danger of being shot or whatever. I just wanna live my life, man.
I don’t have answers, sorry. Maybe just remind others who can vote that they need to and that any pain they feel is solely a result of that dumbass being elected, no matter who he tries to blame.
