5. Massive monopolies, duopolies and triopolies that get to influence the law
6. The merits and demerits replaced with ad hominems and lies
7. Election cycles summed up in a popularity contest of put downs, gotchas and even more lies

Yeah, the democracy is a subverted gimp at this point.
